BIOGRAPHY
C. Howard is a Food Scientist specializing in Product Development with more than a decade of experience in the food and beverage industry. She is a subject matter expert in Research and Development, Quality Assurance, Consumer Testing and Concept-to-Launch Commercialization.
Her work in the industry has led to several game changing and profit driving innovations with brands in the food industry such as KFC Corporation and Burger King Corporation.
C. Howard has been recognized as a Distinguished Young Alumni by her alma mater, University of Tennessee, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science and Technology. She is the founder and owner of Dope Culinary Reactions, a Food Science Consulting company.
Contributions & Accomplishments
C. Howard has previously sat on the board of Organa Kannalytics, LLC, an African-American Woman owned and operated group committed to bringing legitimacy to medical cannabis through science and education in the state of Georgia. During that time, she was a part of the organizing committee of the Southeast Hemp and Medical Cannabis Convention in July 2019. She has been featured on Cash Color Cannabis Podcast (July 2018), as well as the “Women In Cannabis” panel at the Southeastern Hemp and Medical Cannabis Conference in Atlanta (July 2019). C. Howard presented “Cannabis and the Young Professional” to the Urban League of Greater Atlanta Young Professionals during their annual Join Week as a feature program speaker in February 2020. She wrote the article “Flavor Matters: Cannabis and Food” (March 2020) for Haute News online magazine, a division of Be Plant Org (https://www.hautnews.co/2020/03/05/flavor-matters-cannabis-food/ ). She was also a special guest on the Smart Jewelz show and podcast featuring African American entrepreneurs. She is also a member of M4MM (Minorities for Medical Marijuana), Inc, and she is a featured science panelist at the 3rd Annual Georgia World Cannabis Conference.
